6 Months

I am offically 6 months!! It has gone by so fast! The baby is kicking more and getting bigger (which makes me get bigger)! Here are pictures of my belly.

We are having a GIRL!!

Dan and I found out a couple weeks ago that we are going to have a cute little girl! We are so excited. My mom and sister Taylor were able to come to Las Vegas for the ultrasound. I was happy that they were able to be there! When i got there for the appointment my mom bought me a Vitamin water to drink. She told me they can see the baby better when you bladder is full. I already had to go to the bathroom and I drank all the water my mom gave me. So as you can imagine, my bladder was pretty full.

When we got into the ultrasound room the tech checked our little girl and she was scrunched in this ity bity ball:

We didn't think we were going to be able to see her gender. The technicians panned over to my bladder and said "OH! You have to go to the bathroom!" My reply "Yes I do!". She sent me to the bathroom. Apartently there are some places that want you to come in with a full bladder and others that don't. Once I came back, the tech looked at our little baby again and she was spreading out. Poor thing, my bladder was so full she had no room to move! Then next pictures we got were these:

We were so excited to see her and watch her move! Having a baby is the most miraculous thing! I can't wait until we can hold her!

Trip to the Emergency Room

The baby and I had a scary experience on Friday. I went to a primary care dr on Friday to get a check up. To my suprise I found out I was bleeding. I was very scared and was by myself since Dan was up in Utah taking some boxes back up. I drove over to the emergency room and was checked in. On my way to the ER I called my mom and dad who called my grandparents in St. George and my uncle in Vegas. They also got a hold of my bishop who called my home teachers and visiting teacher to come to the hospital to help me. Everybody was so wonderful who came! The ER dr was not very personable and talked to the chart the whole time. They advised that they didn't know why I was bleeding but gave me medication for a UTI and ordered bed rest. I was on bed rest for 5 days until I could see my dr today. The dr told me that since the bleeding stopped that he will take me off bedrest but told me that I couldn't do any household chores. He said just go to work and then come home and pretty much be a couch potatoe. Which is okay by me! They still don't know why I was bleeding. They said everything looked fine with the placenta and the baby was doing great. They said if it happens again they will put me back on bedrest.
I can't wait until next week where Dan and I will find out the gender of our baby! I am so excited to find out and my mom and dad are coming to town! I can't wait.

Our First Baby

After almost 4 years of marriage, Dan and I are going to have a baby! My due date is January 12, 2011. We are very excited and nervous at the same time! There are so many preperations that we have to do before the baby comes! The good news reached us just in time for us to renew our lease to our apartment and we are moving to a 2 bedroom apartment by the end of this month. Poor Dan! I won't be to much of help since I can't lift heavy things but, I still have a lot to do. Here is a recent picture of our baby. I am going to the dr the end of this month and they will probably schedule the ultrasound for the sex of the baby next! I am so excited to find out what this little baby will be!

My First Embroider almost done!

My awesome friend Marilee showed me how to embroider this summer. It took me forever to finish it but I am almost done. I just need to dot my i's. Can't wait to learn how to do that and I will be done! Thanks Marilee!

Dan's mustache and Birthday

So let me explain about the mysterious motorcycle man in my apartment. Dan and his classmates decided to have Fuzzy February (they grew out beards) and then Mustache March. This is my husband!!! He only wore it for a week THANK GOODNESS!

Also, Dan and I's birthdays came and went but I got some pictures of Dan on his birthday. I did my first 3 layer cake for Dan's birthday. It was a recipe by Paula Dean. I LOVE PAULA DEAN! Anyways, It didn't turn out looking to bad! It tasted really good! Dan got to choose the meal he wants and of course he picked Corned Beef and Cabbage!

San Diego/CMS Confrence Trip

Dan and I were able to go to San Diego this last week. It was so much fun! We went because Dan had CMS physical therapy confrence. We were able to go to Seaworld (which was my first time), San Diego Zoo (we got to see the cute Panda's), Mormon Batallion Historic Site, Old Town San Diego, San Diego Temple (Beautiful!!), Coronado, Point Loma Light house and Seaport Village. I probably forgot some other things just because we did so much! Luckily I had Delane and Leslie with me while Dan was in the meetings. We had so much fun! I could tell you all about it but, it would take to long so here are some pictures.
