UNLV vs. UNR Basketball Game

It is almost Thanksgiving and dan and I are so excited to go up to Utah! We both miss our famalies so much and can't wait to spend time with them. We also get to fly up which we are way excited about too! Driving can be fun but we have done it so much we are kind of sick of the drive up to Utah. To bad Tori (our pet tortoise) can't come with us. Thanks to Marliee, Colby and Clay for watching him! Well before I get a head of myself, we went to the UNLV vs. UNR basketball game. I guess this is a big rivalry with Las Vegas and Reno. We sat with Staci ( one of dan's classmates) and had a lot of fun. The people down the row from us though kept getting beers and it got old having to stand up and down, up and down. I am not talking about getting maybe 2 drinks, it was like 6 drinks per person and 4 people constantly getting them. LOL. Here are some pictures.

The Las Vegas Strip from parking GarageYou might ask me why I took a picture of the parking garage and the exit sign. We were stuck in the parking garage after the game for 45 minutes. The traffic was not moving at all! There were also some idiots who thought it was funny to honk their horn. It didn't feel so good on the ears.

Nellis Air Show

We were able to go to the Nellis Air Show at the Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. We got to see a lot of cool planes and saw the Thunderbirds. They were amazing! I couldn't even believe how close they flew together. Colby, Marilee, Clay, Zach and Tiffany were able to go with us. It was a little windy and cold. Yes, it was cold! Here are some pictures.
